How to stop your Library from being automatically synced to your EndNoteOnline account

Sometimes you don't want EndNote to sync to your EndNoteOnline automatically. Below we explain how to turn off this automatic sync. You can, of course, always start the syncing manually whenever you want to; see below.

Turn of automatic syncing

Edit>Preferences…>Sync>Sync automatically

Manually start the sync

You start the sync of the open Library manually by going to Library>Sync
