Sometimes an old license activation can be stopping you from applying a new license file/code.
SigmaPlot 14
- Please download and unzip this file:
http://www.systat.de/Transfer/SPW_14_LicenseRepairUtility.zip - Then right-click the "SPW_14_LicenseRepairUtility.exe" file, and choose "Run as administrator".
The result should show "Success: 1 file" or more files (0 is fail).
Hopefully this will clean your computer for old/failed activations, and you can now right-click your SigmaPlot 14 start-icon and choose "Run as administrator". Then use your license file to update and activate your license.
Then restart your SigmaPlot the usual way (doubleclicking the start-icon), and check SigmaPlot: Help > License status.

http://www.systat.de/Transfer/SentinelClean_V4.zip - Then right-click the "SentinelClean_V4.exe" file, and choose "Run as administrator".
The result should show "Success: 1 file" or more files (0 is fail).
Microsoft fix
Microsoft also has a program that can automatically repair issues (including corrupted registry keys) that block you from installing or removing programs.
