Here are a video and a quick guide that shows you how to convert a Reference Manager database to an EndNote library. The video and guide also show you how to convert a Word document with Reference Manager citations and bibliography, to a Word document with EndNote citations and bibliography.

HOW TO CONVERT A REFERENCE MANAGER DATABASE TO AN ENDNOTE LIBRARY

  1. Open EndNote and choose File > Open Library. (The database/library must be closed/not open in RefMan before you do this!)

  2. In the file type menu (bottom-right) choose, "Reference Manager Databases".

  3. Navigate to your RefMan database and open it (in EndNote).

  4. Click Convert and save your new EndNote library.

HOW TO CONVERT A WORD DOCUMENT WITH REFMAN CITATIONS TO A WORD DOCUMENT WITH ENDNOTE CITATIONS

  1. Open the Word document.

  2. Open the corresponding converted EndNote library.

  3. Choose Word [EndNote tab]: Convert citations and bibliography > Convert Reference Manager citations to EndNote
